Tonight I can finally say something that I've wanted to say for some time: I'm an uncle! Marni and Jay have been in the process of adopting a baby, and tonight they brought home Jack Matthew Sigmon from the hospital. I get to meet my nephew tomorrow, and I'm ecstatic. I haven't felt such an overwhelming sense of joy and simplicity in so long, and this baby has changed a part of all of my family (I'm also touched that his middle name comes from my first name).
