Bring me the head of the person who wrote Sweet Home Alabama. Granted, I knew what I was in for when I saw it. Granted, I found it mildly entertaining. However, moviemakers are guilty of a gross disservice to society when they perpetuate this commercial propaganda that says true love lurks around every corner. Single girl after single girl will sit through that tripe and say, "Oh that is so my life." Please. If all you poor-me single girls want to find your prince charming, replete with southern gentility and that apple pie smile, go to the confederate states, not the mall multiplexes.
P.S. - My favorite line of the entire movie? Candice Bergen as a politician on the topic of poor people: "I'm a democrat. Who else would poor people vote for?"
