Deep Thoughts

1) While watching Kubrick's Lolita this afternoon, I was struck by Sue Lyon's slight resemblance to Marci. After a clandestine romantic interlude with her high school debate teacher, Marci considered herself a contemporary version of Lolita. What Marci lacks (among so many other refined qualities) is subtlety. And that is why she is a stupid, whorish shrew of a woman.

2) During my daily meetings with my mirror, I wonder how one male can be so handsomely constructed and yet so single.

3) Perhaps I feel the need to leave the Midwest because people don't devote enough attention and thought to me.

4) I wish my Sharper Image order would arrive (a $300 CD alarm clock, a $150 CD-shower stereo, a $30 LCD clock).

5) Is indifference a valid emotion?
