Visiting Columbia this weekend was a welcome getaway from the Oklahoma City routine. I can't say it enough -- I loved seeing my MU friends (albeit briefly). Drinking with Jake and staying up talking with Rachel, Christie and Kaity made it seem as though no time had passed. After walking around campus and going to the football game, I was filled with pride for my alma matter. Even in a sea of OU fans, I still cheered loudly and shouted when the Tigers scored their hard-earned touchdowns. I also enjoyed the road trip with Danny, even though his music taste differs universally from mine (think country, think rap). But now it's back to work. Back to living at home. Back to finding a job or saving up money to go to Los Angeles. It's Monday and I have to be me again.
