I've had to face up to the reality that most celebrities are unintelligent. I watched (a small, small part of) the video commentary for Jerry Maguire. Tom Cruise is, to say the least, a 40-year-old height-challenged frat boy. Renee Zellweger, as much as I want to love her, is aloof and loud.

Today I watched one hour of E!'s Golden Globe coverage. Anna Nicole offered her opinion on The Pianist with, "That movie is really, really sad." I'm sure I'm not the only one who doubts she saw anything more than the movie's trailer. As for E!'s unstoppable cast of untalented hosts and announcers, well, that was enough motivation for me to turn off the TV set and pray for the apocalypse.

And on another note, I hate my job. Thank you.
