After a delightful lunch with Lyndsay (and an unecessary trip to Best Buy, where I purchased Igby Goes Down, Risky Business and The Producers), I went to Target with the intention of only buying plastic hangers for my increasing wardrobe. Well, I got the hangers. And The Bourne Identity. And Six Feet Under: The First Season. Shit.
I've been making cold calls to acting schools all over Los Angeles. Unlike universities, acting schools are less picky about their admittance, and I was surprised to find all my calls returned within 24 hours. My two most promising prospects remain Playhouse West and Dee Wallace Stone (she played Elliot's mom in E.T.). I don't quite know what to expect, but after my miserable experiences with Mizzou's "Theater Department," I know that things can only get better.
