To prepare for tonight's open-mic, I went to the Lakeview karaoke bar after work last night with Autumn, Melinda and Bobby (and Clare, you'll be glad to know that I only had one glass of wine and a lot of water). I sang my usual repertoire of karaoke songs ("Amie," "Here Comes the Sun," "What a Wonderful World," etc) and managed to overstay my welcome by singing one too many solos. And all I can say about that is...the public had better get used to seeing a lot of me. And all that jazz.
