Even I, an ardent opposer of American Idol contestant Carmen Rasmusen, felt that Randy and Simon were a bit too harsh after her performance last night. First of all, she sounds like a Grammy winner compared to the uncannily overrated Josh Gracin. Second, telling a contestant that he or she is not going to win is not constructive criticism. Do they expect her to say, "Oh, well then I'll just drop out of competition?" Finally, it's not exactly Carmen's fault she's advanced so far in the competition. And for what it's worth, last night was her best performance (comparatively).

That said, that little polygamist bitch was no substitute for Kimberly Caldwell.
