It feels nice watching the sun come up

Radiohead and Coldplay excluded, I'm rarely a fan of modern music. However, after reading a glowing review of Ed Harcourt in Esquire, I'm a huge fan. His piano-meets-punk rock sound is replete with the numbingly cool loner angst of Pink Floyd and Radiohead. And I've been fortunate enough to sample some of the songs from his upcoming album, "From Every Sphere." You'll love the rock-it-to-me beat of "Watching the Sun Come Up." You'll get goosebumps when you hear the spine-tingling "Undertaker Strut." Not since I first discovered Dark Side of the Moon have I been so enthralled by the overall emotional concept of an album. Ed Harcourt gives me reason to love music again.
