It begins

In a fit of inspiration, I went to the local tryout for American Idol. The (one) winner receives a guaranteed audition in front of the supreme three...in Honolulu. The winner also wins a $1,000 gift certificate to Quail Springs Mall. And although my competition sucked, there were a few who were so superlative as to still keep me headed to Houston tomorrow. So, I leave on that note. I'm heading early tomorrow morning and don't anticipate being back until next Sunday. Expect a really, really long blog upon my return.
