This week's F&F Girl of the Week is Stephanie Kaye (Nicole Stoffman), the most memorable of Degrassi Junior High's angst-ridden youth. Long before Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears, Stephanie was in tune with her own simmering sexuality and the rewards that came from using her powers accordingly. By promising kisses in exchange for votes, Stephanie quickly climbed the Canadian ladder and became Student Body President (much to the chagrin of staunchly virginal Voula). Steph also secured her place in the public television hall of fame (as well as my heart) by announcing to the student body the impending loss of her virginity. Despite her Canadian accent and over-the-top wardrobe, Stephanie Kaye is this week's F&F Girl because, like me, she knows that when we dangle sex in front of the opposite sex, we get what we want.

(Sadly, Stephanie's final plot line involved her suicidal tendencies. She was sent off to boarding school in the next episode and never seen again. I decided not to hold that against her.)
