The bittersweet thing about the acting business is that just when you're at your worst and things seem so bleak, something unexpectedly great happens. After sending out dozens of submissions to agents (all referrals with one exception), I'd managed to attract only two meetings, both with two of LA's better talent agencies.

Yesterday I met with the first agent. One day later, before I even met with the second, I received the call every actor dreams of: The call from someone who believes in him and wants to work for him. So, finally, I have a GOOD agent, an agent with clout who can set up meetings, find work and put my SAG card to good use.

And so today, instead of kicking myself for what I haven't accomplished, I will be proud of myself. I'm learning more and more the value of perseverance. Thank you to my close friends & regular readers who continually encourage and support me...and kick me in the ass when I'm being a melancholy little bitch.
